Nobody wants to be your yes man!!!!!!

and nobody wants to manage a club that used to be well known as a family club but for you to now make as a BUSINESS for YOURSELF!

i have lost count how how many interviews you have repeated the same thing about the club being a successful profitable business but you NEVER talk about promotion, see the problem is you think we are happy with mid table for 10 years as long as we don't get relegated.... we can see it clear as day, all you want to do with this club is make some money from selling young players on, and you have the Gaul to think that's success for us! for you maybe, but not for us..

you are gonna soon realize how bad you messed it up when slowly all these fans who have been patient start turning on you as well...

 

Sacking the manager when results take a nose dive and then appointing a manager who has an excellent track record of getting teams from this league promoted does not look like an owner who is happy with being mid table for 10 years. I have absolutely no doubt that Edin and Stefan want promotion - how they are planning to do it may not be popular with some (and may turn out to be unsuccessful), but I believe claims that they are happy to stick around in league 1 forever more are well wide of the mark.

 

I think whoever the coach ends up being will tell us a lot. If it's some novice from an academy or someone who's only ever been an assistant, then promotion is taking a back seat.

 

OK. For me that's not getting involved. That's their right of reply. It was essentially one messages (challenged by twitter's character limit) and nothing more. Not like it's gone on and on and we've heard nothing else since. Storm in a teacup.

Just caught up after a day gardening in cloudy Spain, having a beer and agreeing with the first part of your post Park.
Last July Stefan came over and saw staff, some Ambassadors and a number of sponsors so this is common knowledge. SR and ER were delighted that the first blocks were in place for player development. "Sam (Collins) has a great reputation in his field and we have given him the brief to get one of his group in the first team each season"
As you say we have had Omari, Robinson and Gibson making L1 appearances and others in other games or on the bench. Not a bad start I would say. It remains to be seen if progress can continue but such as Reece Powell, Curtis Peters, Alex Laird and three or four others must have a chance. Well done Sam, good choice S&E.

 

Fair points made but the spine of our team is critically important for us, in order to build some stability and character.

Also didn't let me out when exiting the Apperley Manor hotel some years ago. I'd have knighted him if i'd had a faster car. But i haven't let it bother me after all these years
