I'm not so sure Sarcevic is fully fit actually. If it was mid season he wouldn't have been back yet in my opinion.

 

Agree, he could be a useful player to have on the bench rather than starting him and not lasting the 90

 

As big a fan of Sarcevic that I am, I would probably agree and start Lapslie on Saturday and look to bring Sarcevic off the bench if needed.

 

Lapslie looked fresh and added much needed pace when he came on on Saturday so I'd definitely start him

 

I didn’t think Lapslie would be any good when we signed him and was a squad filler but after seeing him play, I’d be happy with this

 

Start Lapslie, Sarc AND Pattison.
We need a good solid start and not be to be 0-0 after 80 mins. Would rather be 2-0 up early doors… not that we can even relax at that score after the Swindon and Chesterfield shenanigans

Lapslie has proved that he can get in to goalscoring positions and finish the chances as well.
He won player of the month based on those stats .

He had that spell where he got on to the end of every Tayo cross t that came in.

Long week ahead but rather have this than the season being dead with weeks to go.

Gonna be one hell of an attmosphere and party should we get the job done which i think will happen.

 

We're bulling ourselves up again as per Swindon, Chesterfield and Donny, we can only hope as nothing is a given with this lot ...

 

They were away games. Where realistically we should have taken at least 6 points.

 

It's most certainly not a given. We should get over the line and on paper we couldn't have asked for a better fixture to get promoted-home game against mid table fodder. Our defence worries me though (especially with Byrne in there) and even more so we have a record of struggles against Pete Wilds teams. Expecting him to have them fired up with plenty of the dark arts thrown in.
All that said, I expect us to do it, but think we are in for an emotional roller coaster of a day.
Bring it on!!!

 

In reality forget the rest of the season. It boils down to this one game. If someone said before the season you could play your last game at home and if you win you'll be promoted, you'd have snapped their hand off! Hopefully remembering the 56 beforehand and what it means to fans of all ages, along with a record attendance should give them that extra bit to get the job done. If not, with our recent form more doubt creeps in making it a tough ask to win the play-offs.

Looking to see if there's anything worth noting from the Fleetwood team but they are one of these teams with sod all to play for and haven't for some time, so the results are a bit all over the place. Wild is rotating every game to see what he has for next season. In the last 4 they've played a 451, a 343 and a 352. Seemingly moved to 442 with subs at stages too. They got a win with the 451 last week, so I'd guess they stick to that but he's been switching so often, who knows?

Flat back 4, with one or two sitting DMs and a big lad up top. We've all seen Wilds tactics at VP before and annoyingly he's won every time he's managed here.
