'Weak' and 'strong' mean nowt anyway.

The teams that go up deserve to, and very rarely do teams that go down not deserve to.

 

Of course they mean something. If you get it right it's an accurate yardstick to gauge your chances of achieving your aims.

For instance, Man Citys squad would be described as strong and perhaps Norwich's as weak and I know where the best chances of a successful season lie.

 

And like Parkinson, Adams is a tough love manager. Do what I ask and I'll support you to the hilt. Piss me about and I will fall upon you from a great height. A deeply religious man and a teetotaller, I can't see Adams making the McCall mistake of trying to be one of the lads.

No surprise. Reliable and dependable squad player if he can keep fit.

 

I've no problem with that. Pretty reliable and can put over a very good cross when given the opportunity.

 

I’m with you on that. I suspect and probably so does he, that as it’s a one year deal , it will be as back up.

Im happy with that and clearly so is he.

 

I like the fact he's a proper left back, not a wing back or utility or right wing or can play in the hole or some other guff. We know exactly what his role is.

 

Happy with this also. We know what we are getting and that is a solid right back for League 2. Formed part of a decent back line last season, so the foundation of a strong team remains pretty much in tact. Let's hope the new signings improve us further.

 

He certainly gives us options of reverting back to a standard back 4 but not as a “wingback”.

 

Steady player im pleased hes stayed on, He lacked support on that left side, didn't have someone like Banks in front of him. Maybe Oduor is for a more attacking position in front of Ridehalgh ?

 

I think whether or not be is first choice will be down to the way we set up. The "initial" one year contract is probably down to fitness concerns and the injury he was carrying at the backend of last season clearing up.

 

Happy with that too.

Consistent full back, never let's you down, be interesting to see whether MH still views him as first choice left back and whether Oduour will play in front of him.

Whether he will be first choice or squad player, happy to get another year from him

 

I'll be very concerned if we don't sign another LB.

 

A decent back line that lacked an individual with any pace could not defend crosses, corners that cost us goals and on top of that added only a few goals to our goal for column. I would like to see an addition(s) that will improve us in these areas.

 

Me too. Ridehalgh, Gilliead are 2 players I dont mind but they are the 2 players in our first 11 that need improving on before anyone else.
