I was in Belize at the time of this gane and think I listened to it on BBC World Service at daft o'clock in the morning.
Wasn't it a record attendance for a match at that level?

 

Yes although poor quality the commentator quoted the attendance at 30,000+ but couldn’t quote the exact number.

 

He did late on, gave official attendance 33,400+

 

Amazing. Can't remember what happened 2 hours ago but i remember this like yesterday. It was a cracking game, the atmosphere off the scale. Miss those days.

I was in the East Stand and got "outted" as a City fan by some Bradford Whites. Kept my head down !

 

Didn't Villa play Bournemouth at Villa Park in Div 3 in front of 48000 or something like that back in early 80's?
