    Some noise on Twitter tonight that Lee Novak has announced his retirement? Not seen anything directly from him.

    Apparently announced on his Instagram - resulting from the knee injury sustained in January. Very sad, only 32 and apparently not all that many injuries in his career.

    Lee Novak has this evening announced on Instagram that he is retiring from professional football due to the knee injury he sustained in January. A terrible shame. Scored the best goal I’ve ever seen in person. #bcafc #htafc @BBCWYS

    Good luck to him. Seems that injury was a lot worse than we all thought, and a shame as he had a fairly injury free career until then.
