Yeah, I'm sure he was desperate for it happen, so he could sit on his arse and steal a wage........ The bloke is very probably distraught and will have to start facing up to the very real possibility that he will have to retire from from the game, The lack of empathy and understanding here is astonishing. Yes, his signing was a gamble and it is no real surprise what has happened but come on, show some class.

 

Really feel sorry for him. Whenever I’ve heard him interviewed he’s been very positive and upbeat. He must be devastated that it’s happened again.

 

We have some pathetic fans really do. But just because we take a few thousand to an away game they’re great and deserve to win every game. People like this deserve loss after loss.

 

At least its happened with a week of the window left. No pissing about or worrying about 'sustainability'. We need a quality front man in.

 

Apparently this injury is not on his suspect leg but we have been picking up injuries like this for the last three years and it’s down to conditioning and preparation

That would make sense if Angol has been overloading his other leg/hamstring to account for his 'suspect' leg.

I wonder if anyone at the club has looked at how Angol has been moving, and whether this injury may have been prevented?

I don't know much about this technology, but if it were able to help identify when a player was overloading certain muscle groups through imperfect form, it could be very helpful to someone like Kiwomya.

 

We can’t get basic tactics and formation right so I doubt anyone cares about advanced in-depth medical science.

 

That was the one time since he last pulled it he ran full tilt. I love him as a player but for his sake retire mate. He busted his gut unlike some of the other lot.

Can't see the club risking another year especially with someone who has a fair bit of previous. Feel sorry for him, we took a gamble on him and it hasn't worked.

 

Feel for him. I like him as a player, he's clearly got good ability and sounds like a good lad when you listen to his interviews.

But with his previous injury record, he should never have been signed in the first place. We cannot afford to carry players who only manage 15-20 games a season.

I'm pretty sure Sparks said something pre season along the lines of us not signing players anymore that can't play every game, or something along those lines.
