You're correct but that happened in the 70's, as correctly quoted in another reply historically a small part was in Lancashire & the rest was in Cheshire. Don't get me wrong it's great for nights out & stuff having Manchester up the road but being called 'Manc's' is deeply offensive to any County fan worth his salt as the song goes 'We don't come from Manchester' We don't identify with Lancashire either as they all talk funny up that way & mostly have 6 fingers We proudly cling to our Cheshire roots

 

Absolutely agree with you. They've got a couple of decent players for sure but their defence isn't all that, if you get in their faces & pressure them straight from the off & don't allow their better players any space you've got every chance of turning them over

 

I still class you as being Cheshire
