Well done Bolton the better side over the two games. Having said that I do wonder how many more points we might have got if Lapslie had played more games and played regular

 

Well we didnt make it but we've had one hell of a season trying. I just hope the momentum we had from last season doesnt turn into a bad season next season, proud of the lads shows what hard work and grafting for your team mates can do.

 

A great season, considering our budget and expectations at the start of it. Think the first half of the season, we deserved to be where we were in the table. Always gave a good account of ourselves

the second half of the season we did okay but I think the writing was on the wall that we’d lost our spark. January contributed a lot towards that

as for the game. First half very poor. We have experienced heads in the squad who were the worst offenders : Power, Tilt, Sarcevic. All anonymous or making too many mistakes. Bolton had a game plan and executed it well. Fair play to them, they are a good side, no two ways about it

The upcoming summer requires a huge rebuild or I do feel we will fall off massively come next season. I dont really care about GA’s explanations to it but you cant play wingers as strikers when we play hoofball. Jackson wasn't in the game at all today and up until Bolton sat back, our attacking play was non existent

 

Shockingly shite intent for 3 of the 4 halves in this play offs. Beaten by the better team, way better team, but my god we made them look better than they were with some daft unforced errors.

Attacking output has fallen off a cliff in recent months and way virtually non-existent once again. We really need another idea thay just hoofing it forward, we are such a clueless side to watch at times.

 

Spot on it was crap. More atmosphere with a couple of thousand in the Bradford End years ago ……Club…TICKETING fiasco .

 

Spot on. 15-20 mins we were very good and I do think if we score, we go on to win. Outside of that, Bolton had our number and it was the same for the league games.

In isolation of the game thought the introduction of Tyriek Wright and Lapslie got us going. The first half we looked nervous and seemed to struggle under brilliant Bolton press. The changes made a positive difference but that goal was a sucker punch.

No grumbles from me - what a season.

 

He ran around a lot but looked like a player who hasn't played for a long while unfortunately.

 

Proud being a City fan, always will love my team.

Tonight is a hard one to stomach but we have done exceptionally well this season. The hardest part is that we have continue the progress and push hard again next season, which I'm confident we will.

I also like BALDWIN but not as a centre back, JOE WRIGHT never put a foot wrong, but was taken off ,ridiculous move IMO, and POINTON should never have started. LAPSLIE was the star man from when he came on.Never thought i would say this but i hope we keep LAPSLIE neext season.

 

Thought Forino had him in his pocket for the last league game and over the play off games. Equally Osei-Tutu was excellent, especially tonight.
