League 1 Average Attendance so far

No surprise there! I don’t like their brand of football either.

 

The offers the club have done in the past, has really built the fan base, tickets for adults are no longer cheap, which has often been used by others to explain our larger attendances in league two by fans of other clubs
Long may it continue, the atmosphere at VP has been great on occasions and even when games have been poor the fans have stuck with it these past few seasons ,and appreciate the effort put in.
Promotion this time, could see sold out signs at VP on a regular basis and surely would put the club even more in the shop window.

 

Blimey we have all seen that before , in spades!

 

Shouldn't need much tempting if we get to the championship, not with the likes of Spurs, West Ham and Wolves possibly in the division, not to mention adversaries like Sheffield United and Hull City maybe.

 

I've got one that I've been keeping a track of throughout the season for every game but missed a couple of weeks and the last day so got to add them, will upload a copy either this evening or tomorrow.

These are the individual tables, we are 2nd for overall attendance and home fans but top the away following table. We're midtable on the away fans as % of home fans but that is to be expected with such high home numbers and the majority of games being sold out.

 

Burton wasn't quite a sell out, we were about 50 or so short

 

The %age of away V home fans is the most meaningless stat out there , however the three other stats are great work.

 

Noticeable to me is the lack of sell outs for Doncaster and Rotherham, I know they had poor seasons overall, but 1 sell out between them with so many teams on their doorstep,? each other, Barnsley, Mansfield, Huddersfield, Bradford

I think most of the games with TL Dallas used were early on in the season and a few only had a couple hundred so probably faded from the memory. Looking at it quickly I think only 4 of the 1200+ attendances have been since New Year, the rest are Christmas or before.

I didn't actually realise there were that many until you mentioned it. The average away fans was higher than I thought it would be but I'd put that down to the 3 sell outs contributing to nearly a third of the total away fans for the season.
