Kick Off Changes

Spoiled by idiots that can't hold their beer.

 

Hard to hold it when you need both hands for fighting to be fair.

 

As a newly retired person, my trips back are not as constricted and I was looking at the Huddersfield game as a good one to come back for. I kind of expected the move to 12:30 so realistically that means flying into MAN not LBA. However, what is the chance of the home game moving to the Thursday night slot? That would really buffer it all up for me.

I think it's a fair bet that both games will stay as Saturday 12:30 kick-offs, unless they get gubbed because of weather conditions, mass squad illness or the tea lady getting called up for international duty. They will sit nicely for the lunchtime slots, be it as a main Sky game or one on Plus.

 

I was expecting the Barnsley home game to move to 12.30

 

Football fans treated completed different to every other walk of life.

imagine that due to 4 stabbings and 100 arrests at last years event, the notting hill carnival was to be moved to a 7pm kick off on wednesday night on police advice. Just wouldnt happen.

Police should just do their job and plan accordingly. If anything its a chance for a good bit of overtime and the opportunity to get stuck in when/if it all kicks off

 

Games selected for coverage by Sky from October to the FA Cup 3rd round weekend are announced next Friday. There's no particular stand out games that are likely to move, Leicester would be one if it wasn't in the international break so Sky won't pick it as they leave league 1 alone in the international breaks due to so many being postponed.

Yep, spending more of our taxes on Police overtime and risking fans/innocent bystanders being injured when certain individuals start acting like morons sounds like a much better idea.

 

The problem being, the people who want to act like morons will still act like morons regardless of the kick off time.

Police will still be required in the vicinity from mid morning to late afternoon/evening anyway to deal with the overspill. I think expecting people to behave just because they have had "less" time to drink is a mute point.

the daftys will just be out a bit early than usual and will be wrecking Brighouse at 10:30 instead of 12:30

 

police don`t have a problem when its leeds v man u , or other games like that no early kick offs for them , its all about money not fan safety

 

Both games are 3 pm this coming season, Leeds man u, alot more fans and more scope for trouble

 

They're still 3pm as broadcast selections haven't been made for October which is when the first game is.
When Leeds played Huddersfield it was always an early kick off.
