This seems a weird one. I don't work in law or the courts but getting done for murder for this? The lad must've thrown the first punch/actively gone looking for it. If it is as you say - you would think there could be some kind of appeal to be made.

On the topic of Harrratt the club have done the correct thing with terminating the loan. Whatever punishment city could've chosen it was a no win for the club. Let Huddersfield deal with it.

My opinion on the crime is that its a grim 'sport' to be involved in. As a youth I did loads of stupid stuff (still do) but I never actively hurt animals or other people. That said I don't think he should be completely written off for this. If its something his friends are doing every weekend its tough as young man to separate yourself. You would hope Hudds/Family give him some guidance moving forward.

I applaud City's stance in sending him straight back to be disciplined by Huddersfield. Be interesting to see what they do with him now.

I hope I am right in thinking Huddersfield had no idea of his arrest in April before sending him our way and not informing us.

We do seem to have a good relationship with Huddersfield

He's doing ok. Getting better every time he plays. An upgrade on Harratt for sure

Striker priority in the January window seems feasible to me after today's departure.
More than a bench warmer would be nice but I doubt it.

I'm not sure what we were contributing to his wages but if it was more than £100 it will save us in the next few weeks anyway as he was unlikely to play based on recent evidence.

Wouldn’t expect them too, just wouldn’t be surprised. They seem to do it a fair bit with their loanees.

What strange thing to be doing for someone who has aspirations of Premier league football. Can't say I can understand why you would do this.

Football is a hypocritical sport if I did this I'd get potted immediately but because he's a footballer some how people seem willing to overlook it. He should have a long road back from this but he'll probs just end up back out on loan in Jan after a slap on the wrists. .

And for sport, unless we’re saying he’s doing it to put food on the table…

Nah being driven for miles in a confined lorry to be taken to a pen and then waiting in line to have your throat slit until you bleed out is a fantastic way to go.

I absolutely agree. The double standards and hypocrisy is laughable. People turn a blind eye because it’s nicely wrapped up in the supermarket. The fact what Kian did was illegal is fair enough but the lad is being hung drawn and quartered and I think it’s hugely unfair.
I firmly believe what Kian did is no worse that goes on every day in abattoirs up and down the country on a daily basis.
