I mean, we've not exactly been swimming in forward options, and if we can convert at least one of the CAM positions to more of a forward role, I'm happy.

Nothing in GA's pre-match briefing suggests that Sarce is going anywhere. GA said that having Sarce and Swanny out injured leaves us with a massive hole in our squad. That sounds to me like he really values them and they will remain an integral part of the squad.

 

Bring back Vadaine.

 

Worth noting that a fair chunk of those appearances will have been from the bench at the tail end of matches.

I don't really know what to make of this signing. Saw a lot of him playing for Ipswich in both of their promotion seasons and I hope that he's less wasteful than he was. Two and a half year deal seems like a lengthy contract given his age. Let's see. Agree that he'll be competition for Sarcevic and not played up front. Hopefully he's dropped back down to his level.

I think his physical attributes will suit our direct style of play. Gives us an outlet as Neufville is getting man marked out of games and Swan is injured

 

I wouldn’t say giving someone a chance necessarily equates to blind faith. I was merely suggesting let’s actually see how the lad does for us and reserve judgement until we’ve seen him play for City.
