A lot to be said for where we sit for home games, maybe a little too far away for some and I get that, we have tickets for the Grimsby game with regards some (not all) these kids who don't care about anyone but themselves having what they believe is a good time, hopefully we can find seats as far away as possible, yep grumpy old bronco but I really don't need the hassle.

Did you expect anything different, I bet when Jason was at school his class mates handed their one sheet of homework into the teacher and Jason handed 7 pages in, destined to be a journalist from an early age.

The problem is if the safety authority group have got involved and telling us there can't be standing in the upper tiers then the club can't put them in there or we would risk losing our safety certificate for at least the top tier of the kop.

What would the club do if me and around 30 of the lads who were moved to B block, got season tickets in the front rows of the NWC but on the first match day, climbed the segregation nets and sat in our seats and refused to move as to make a point??

Not sure why people keep suggesting that they are moved/allowed to go back to K block. They had to move due to thte complaints and safety issues. It wasn't a decision the club just did for a laugh, there wasn't a choice. They couldn't stau up there due to the behaviour. Surely that should have told the club everything they needed to know. It doesn't really matter if we agree with the standing or not, if the safety people are saying it has to stop or there will be consequences for the club then the club have to act.

Why don't the safety people get involved at every other football ground in the country, that has at least one whole stand where the fans stand the whole game??
Villa, Holt End, upper tier stands the whole match.
Stretford End, upper tier stands the whole match.
Away fans at St James park, up in the gods, stand the whole match.
South Stand at Leeds is admired for it's atmosphere as all the supporters stand as the do in the Revie Stand. 2 full stands!! Imagine the outrage at VP.
Away fans at Valley Parade, upper tier of the TL Dallas, when a big following comes to VP, stand the whole match.
Away support in general at VP are allowed to stand the whole match with no policing.
One block in the home end tries to stand and it's come to this!!
No other big club comes down on its home fans like ours is at the moment.
No other big club has fans that turn on it's own faster than ours do.

We all understand that all-seater stadia are exactly that ... all-seater. But sometimes common sense has to take precedence. The club has ballsed up a decision to move fans with consequences for plenty of innocent fans. It appears that the stewards couldn't stop some fans standing in B Block resulting in unwanted behaviour. At most home games, the club doesn't attempt to stop away fans persistently standing in the MR even when the police are present. Enforcement of the no standing rule is very selective. It might be the best outcome for the club to open discussions with whoever is charged with monitoring 'standing' and come to some understanding and compromise. In the meantime, move the 'atmosphere' fans to K block at the rear of the Upper Kop where the situation can be better controlled.

I don't see there being a simple and quick solution to this.

    Edit - Jason's piece in WOAP ..

Really can't see how this one turns around easily? It was always going to be a bit of a no-win situation, moving this many fans into an already populated area, but we've some how managed to make ourselves look even more hopeless.

I can't believe they think constantly displaying a message on the screen to remain seated will actually help? Nobody standing will pay any attention to it, and the sitting folk have another "I'm in the right" rod to poke the group with and will refer to the screen in every argument.

That was the problem though. It couldn't be controlled in K block and they had to move them. It was implied, if not stated, at the time that the club had no choice but to move them. Unfortunately the Club website has updated and I can not find the announcements about the move and the K Block twitter feed only implies the reasons, talks about constant complaints and no choice etc

After going down to the Magic Weekend, I'm not surprised. Worst ground I've ever been to for leg room by some distance! The Borrowers would call it snug.

On a similar theme to Graham's presser last week, do you think Marco Townson will be given the 'RUCKSACK OF REPERCUSSIONS'......;)

Been a few times over the years. The legroom in the Revie stand is non existent, as a ground it's way past its sell by date. You'd think a city the size of Leeds would have a decent ground.

This is a new rule which is going to have a massive impact.
Imagine this when we were younger.
I hope those who have had enough notification of the changes in match day experience in B block , are happy with this result.
