This was a crass decision on the part of the club. The club' Director of Ticketing and Supporter Services needs to explain to those particularly affected why this was done and how it will be resolved.

Mind you, it was the same Marco Townson who decided to award Carlisle with 400 more seats than they were entitled to according to the EFL for last season's play-off. His decision resulted in every City fan in the MR being moved to wherever they could find a seat which wasn't already allocated to a ST holder elsewhere in VP - not an easy task for family groups etc. This was despite many fans writing to him saying he'd just got it wrong! Imo, he is simply incompetent who talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk.

I appreciate Bonzo was good, but didnt realise he was so good he could play in front of his kit. Cuedos.

Moved seats today phoned the ticket office and stayed at fourth in the queue for over an hour fortunately someone who lives locally went down to the ground to sort it.
Apparently there was a staff meeting today to discuss what to do. If the status quo is returned I will be more than annoyed

I've just received an email from the club regarding reported issues in B block from Saturday.

If people want to get out of the B block area, then rather than spending over an hour on the phone then perhaps take up this suggestion.
“Free seat swaps were offered to any supporter currently holding a seat in the lower tier of the Kop and are still available by emailing ticketingsupport@bradfordcityafc.com.”

The explanation of the wristbands confirms that they were expecting people to stand and they were worried about people from other areas entering there and creating an overcrowding issue so bascially they were just hoping for the best and that it would somehow go without incident. I really don't see what more stewards will do as the group won't sit down so the problem still remains.

yeah completely agree. As much as i admire the club putting the vote to the fans, the plan either way has to be implementable after that vote. And its pretty clear they have not understood that throwing a large group of young pumped up lads into the middle of a seated cross section of fans was an accident waiting to happen. I guess the ideal place would have been the Bradford End but the number of them seems so low it would seem pointless. Not sure where they go with it from here.

    That's just it their not.
I went to Grimsby away the other night, no trouble because these so called supporters didn't attend.
Now we go back in a couple of weeks and guess what some of these individuals will be there in numbers but heed my advice the steward's at Grimsby are proper thugs and they will love to flex their muscles against our trouble causers.
Our small away allocation was easy to police the other night but I'm expecting trouble at the League game.

What an absolute farce this is.
Can those who like to stand and sing all game please move from one part of the ground to another so we can close the part you were in.
You can go to an area where we will consult with the existing season ticket holders of our intention and give them ample time to make up their minds on the season ahead.
1 match in and the usual stubborn ***** that are City supporters are piss moaning and the club are trying to appease this minority.
The whole reason of moving to that block was because it offered a place to go try and create an atmosphere, beneficial for team, without getting lumped on unsuspecting fans.
The club love posting pics of younger supporters, up and singing, taking over away ends and shouting the team on, always standing, lauding them.
Even the clubs Facebook page profile pic is the lads who went to MK Dons, stood the whole game, with pyros and chanted the whole match!!!!
Then this!? The ones running this club haven't a clue.

    I agree.
Safe standing for all the upper half of the top tier blocks in the Kop.
Not in anyone's way and where anyone who wants to stand can do so.
The club promised safe standing in the NWC but that was totally swept under the rug

Oh look everyone, here's our amazing fans, what an atmosphere they create, but we only like it at away grounds where it's not our problem and we aren't peeing off our own.
