Sounds like dropping to non league has really helped him.

    Fair play to the lad.

Just goes to show how circumstances can affect player form. His potential was highly rated before he came to City. We saw virtually nothing to support that view. But he was here at a very dark time, with low morale in a particularly underperforming squad and manager upheaval. Once out of that environment his potential emerged again.

Yep , whilst not world beaters by any stretch Him and Devine sat on the bench and watched Akpan and the other midfielder who I've forgotten, take the piss week in and week out and still get picked ahead of them.

Seems both Devine and Anderson have bettered themselves for leaving

How on earth have you come to that conclusion?

Anderson was last seen in the National league and Devine isn't even making the Carlisle bench!

    Simple really

Anderson is now attracting interest from teams in the league above us and Devine was starting a chunk of Carlisle games in a side that was way above us at the time before a knee injury finished his season around Christmas.

Firstly, the Anderson link was a nonsense rumour site on twitter. IF he gets a move fair play but until he does he's definitely NOT "bettered himself after leaving City".

Danny's started a grand total of 5 league games, the other 6 have been sub appearances. So all he's done is swapped one bench for another at the very, very best and if we're being honest, he's swapped the bench for mostly sitting in the stands.

Right decision to let both of them go without a doubt.

Certainly was. Although, this could well be yet another demonstration of a player who seems to fare well elsewhere but struggle here. Nothing to do with how we're set up though....
