    Doyle’s gone now but let’s get real. I did n’t see him not trying, I saw a manager who could n’t get anything out of him. More about Bowyer than Doyle. If any of us were in his boots we would have wanted to go too. As coaches go, Bowyer is the past, Wellens is the future. Even their set plays were inventive. Let’s just move on.

    Maybe so, I think personally we need to trim the midfield numbers right down and get just one decent CM in. Although club have had 31 days to get that sorted....
