Keep seeing Jatta mutterings. I can’t see it, especially if we sign the United lad on loan.

 

Just watched the Halliday highlights reel on X the club put out. Its a risky game GA is playing, offloading Cook, Patto and Halliday, three solid performers, but if these three young loan players all prove upgrades we’ll be in the Championship. If they flop, we’ll be midtable.

We just have to trust GA and the recruitment team as they’ve significant credit in the bank.

 

He is also, aside from our other home grown players Hadi, Goodman and Ibbitson, the only first team player who Alexander has not signed.

 

If Kav leaves too, we will need a couple of forwards.

 

He looks like he is out of contract this summer, he signed a 2.5 year deal in Feb 2024 so you'd think Notts would want to cash in? I cant imagine Notts would want to let it linger on through the window. Like, a deadline day sale that leaves them with little to no time to find a replacement of equal or better quality will be virtually impossible.

The media are going to have their work cut out today with getting all of the questions they will want to ask as the pre-Cardiff press conference and that is before they even get onto the game.

Do you blame him though? I don’t, his style is ultra inclusive. You are never going to get that if there is a strong element who think that they are the club and assume leadership. I imagine it was quite difficult for the rest of the team.

This would come down entirely to the 'fit for the club and team' criteria that Alexander has. If he has any doubts about his maturity then we won't sign him (or anyone)

 

Cardiff fans seem to think we've signed Jatta for £375000.

 

I'm led to believe, that we are in a contest for Jatta with QPR. The number quoted above is just under the valuation I heard, being 400k

No idea, but it's discussed as a done deal.

 

That’s heck of a statement if true . County turned down £500,000 from Plymouth last Jan from memory , that’s why he sulked .
