Well, clubs have until 9pm to get paperwork done, so we may not hear about any last minute deals until much later.

 

If we are to bring someone in it looks like it's going to be very last minute and a name that nobody has mentioned. Even if we do bring in a CM I do worry about the numbers there if Leigh leaves as it basically leaves us with Power, Metcalfe and Sibley as the options plus maybe Sarcevic but we don't want him to be that deep. Joe White has played CM but judging on Alexander's comments when he signed and where he has played so far for us I'm not sure Alexander sees him as a CM.

Now that Keilor-Dunn has left Barnsley for Wrexham, Barnsley have joined the hunt for Beesley, with brass to spend from their sale today

 

Burton have had a bid rejected for Dennis at Notts too and are in talks with a young Sunderland lad on loan. Sounds like someone is leaving. Think Beesley is from that south Yorkshire neck of the woods?

Would make sense. Can cover both centre back and defensive midfield.

 

On the T&A blog that we have a deal sheet in so going to be a late one. Hopefully with the deadline being earlier than normal they will get the announcement out this evening rather than tomorrow if the deal is complete.

 

LCB still worries me. Was hoping we’d be bringing one in

 

Presumably this deal will need to be done before the Leigh deal can be finalised

 

But, sadly, not a playmaker, which we could really do with.

 

I think we are fine with Touray, Tilt and Kelly as 3rd choice.
