At a push, you could pretend its because they're Southern and nearer London. Other than that, Gillo is a dive, isn't a particularly affluent area, doesn't have as big a stadium, dont have as many fans, doesn't have as much potential, etc etc etc

BD8 is streets above some places that get investment in terms of potential, and certainly ad an established club with a support base that can continue to grow.

Look at Wrexham. No real reason to invest there at all.

Spot on. The surrounding area isn't a blocker - its a non-issue for investors really. We have a Championship level fan base, single club city (and a large wider populace) etc. Really just a matter of price and what level of investment would be needed to make that next step. We're as, if not more attractive now than when Rupp came in, and there's more active interest and buying activity when it comes to investor owners buying into the UK.

When you look at what the Man City owners have done at Eastlands, then BD8 is no stumbling block. I would say there's only a few clubs outside the top flight and Championship that are worth as much to an investor as we are. And they probably already have owners who have deep pockets.
