I would take Alexander's words with a pinch of salt regarding transfers it was only a couple of weeks ago he was saying he didn't expect much more business to be done. On that basis I expect 3 newbies (one Wheatley) with a couple outgoings

 

Beesley is a central striker though. He couldn't play right.

Jackson was signed as potentially Sarcevic's replacement for next season unless he signs a new deal, then he has two strong options there.

Left side still feels weaker to me.

Yep, but Jackson has led the line in the past and could feasibly be used as the legs around Mullin. At Accrington he played centrally.

More recently he’s played on right there and looked good there on Sat, so hopefully still room
for Beesley to come in!

 

Where would he play though? Let's splurge the budget on a position where we only play one player and then have two big earners in Humphrys and Mullin on the bench?

Well we have had a bid rejected for Beesley, so money was going to be parted with
£1 or a million, it would still be money spent

I cant see Beesley coming in now we have Mullin and Wheatley, seems a bit pointless unless we are changing the system. Sounds a massive amount of money for a guy who has had 6 good months at Burton after a pretty naff few years.

 

I think most on here have as much idea as Mr Parker about the goings on at Bradford city

 

Init, doesn’t even give a reason as to why he doesn’t think he will come. Just vaguely says he’s not coming.

 

It is a lot of money and can the lad step up a division, as that is our aim and who is to say his current form will continue if we are in this division next season

My other thought on this is agreed in principle, but waiting to see how his injury progresses, if little improvement by today, pull the plug and move on
No point in bringing in a loan player that could be missing for a month

 

He's played 137 games and scored 35 since 2020 so not to shabby and that's league games .
