McIntyre one doesnt make sense. GA barely played him, why would he now want him back permanently?

Well done mate, keep 'em coming!!! Would really like Beesley and Lee. Can't see McIntyre wanting to come back after hardly getting game time here though. Not bothered about Leigh, he can go for me.

 

Lee would be an excellent signing I feel.

 

I wonder if McIntyre went back as he was a loan and the number of loans might have become a problem, but a permanent signing might be less of an issue.

 

I did read about the McIntyre rumour but I don’t see that being true. GA openly said that he had a conversation with McIntyre to say that he can’t guarantee him game time and at this stage of his career he needs to be playing regularly.

Only way I see McIntyre coming back is if Kelly was to leave and we are needing another left side CB to come in as cover.

 

Even then, GA seemed to prefer Kelly over McIntyre. So would seem odd if we let Kelly leave to replace him with someone who couldn’t get in the team ahead of him?

 

No chance McIntyre returns. GA just didn’t rate him, bizarrely.

 

I think this could be a good move for him going to a club who plays 2 strikers so he will be played in his natural position. They need a striker as both Drummond and Joe Garner has done nothing Michael Mellon looks like his season might be over after picking up a big hamstring injury on Boxing Day.
I still think there is a good player in Kavanagh and if he gets confidence going he will get goals, I certainly hope we've put in a sell on clause as it will only take one good season in the league 2 and his value will go up a lot

 

The only way McIntyre returns is if we offer him security - he wont be coming back for 1st team football because GA clearly didn't rate him highly enough. Byrne and Kelly both preferred.

 

He does seem to prefer his own players though. As in not-loan players. In the first half of the season anyway.

 

With kav leaving you think there’s defo another striker to come in even if Wheatley arrives, Lee and weir think we may just come out of window stronger

 

Kelly out of contract in 6 months and unlikely to get a new one.
Any player contracted past 2026 seems to be staying.
Anyone out of contract in June seems to be off so it makes sense.
That's why I'm looking at the Sarc situation with an open mind.
