Barnsley fans were very very underwhelmed with Scott Banks signing on loan for them but now singing his praises after a great debut yesterday at right attacking midfield. Blackpool were playing him at wing back and fans concede he has talent but didnt fit into their system.

Out of contract in the summer, one to watch. I really liked him and a decent age. Sorry to all those that get upset about lazy suggestions of ex players...

Been a bit unlucky this year with injury. We shouldn’t forget he scored 13 goals in all competitions last season to help us get out of that league so if it comes off all the best to him in his future career

 

He scored 9 goals to get us out of L2....

Im sure he goes with everyones well wishes but those mourning him need a reality check. He has been appalling in L1.

That's his level. Never found wanting for effort, but talent wise he's L2. Good luck to him

 

Despite his struggles this season, his contributions last season shouldn't be forgotten. Hope he smashes it.

Nothing against Kav at all but completely the correct decision. Of his 9 league agoals last season 5 came in two games. One of which we lost.

He runs a lot has energy but I don't see him having the fundamental skills to ever be more than a L2 player. His ball control, decision making and passing ability all leave a lot to be desired.

But he is a promotion winner and leaves with best wishes.

Calum Kavanagh completes permanent move to Oldham Athletic for an undisclosed fee. Brings to an end a two-year stay with Bradford City, scoring 19 goals in 70 appearances. Played a a very significant role in last season’s promotion.
