Still doesn't make him a substitute for Sarce. An alternative maybe. Sarce has great footballing guile and intelligence. I know little about Jackson other than what I have read on here. He sounds to be a great athlete and physical presence, which I think is something we have been missing, but not a playmaker. Maybe we can find a way to play both.

 

I'd like to think we'll keep Sarce as a talisman, to see him get yet another promotion.

 

None of this putting them on the bench tomorrow GA, get them straight in and let's go for it instead of playing catch up!!!!!

Don’t disagree about that Sarcevic is a player that every club wants a needs. He makes things happen and I hope we keep him as long as he is able to perform to the standard we need on the other hand maybe Jackson could be the new Jamie Lawrence who had his detractors but I loved him

Two positive signings today. On paper, really happy with them after a tough couple of games and performances. The kind of signings we needed ahead of tomorrow to lift the mood. If you were an opposition fan, you’d pay attention to these I think. Let’s hope they pay off.

It's not the signings, it's how we're going to use them that worries me. If we start with one up top and the same system tomorrow how does anything change? Barnsley fans told us Humphrys wasn't a central striker and they were right. The Wrexham guy tells us Mullin can't play on his own up front. So it will be fascinating to see who plays and in what formation tomorrow.

Only niggle is whether these signings are reactive. Not buying this whole Swann being injured nonsense the club peddles. Nah, they saw how far adrift we were becoming of the standards earlier in the season.

They've put in what we should and would have expected as a minimum with these two signings.
