Stockport have the money so if true we will be 2nd favourites.

Live down in west Oxfordshire and know the lad from watching him at North Leigh for a couple of seasons. Did well at Bath City, took a hit of time at Cheltenham to adjust but getting there and played relatively well against us in the cup.

Wonderful shot on him from outside the box (the lad copied and pasted curling, outside of the box goals in non league) and also got decent technical ability. BUT....not got the physical side, pace and stamina. Particularly given our system. Maybe a longer term better for the Sarc, Bobby role. But dont expect too much.

He does fit the nice lad profile of many we have at the club. Called out "norlie reject" at the fa cup match....he sent one of my mates a picture kissing cheltenham badge post match.

it's a 250k release clause - thats the price. Cant see huge wages being required on this one. We also average over twice the crowd of stockport so have to be a more appealing prospect if playing in a big stadium in front of large crowds is a pull.

Yeah, near chipping norton mate. Some good pubs and great drinkers down this way (away from the m40 weekend prats). Bit light on non league football, hence north leigh!

Hi mate, my brother and I have done a pre-christmas night at an inn in Bledington last 2 years but perhaps looking at an alternative next time round (happy eating, drinking and overnight at 1 pub)

Kings Head at Bledington used to do some great nosh and a good range of ales.. not been there for a few years though.

 

Me, the wife and the dog went down to Burford for 3 nights a few months back. Lovely little village, some nice walks around too if the weather's decent.

To be fair, every pub/inn/hotel restaurant we ate and drank at were great in that area. Seem to remember lunch food at The Angel was spot on. Only had a drink at Bay Tree in the bar but it was a beauty of a little bar with the fire on and the food going past looked belting. We stayed at Prince of Burford, a pub with a load of rooms but its a good 5 min walk from the main road pubs. However it was dog friendly which we needed but the bigger plus was it has on-site parking, which a lot of the hotels and inns down on the main road didnt have.

 

I thought we did not play with wingers.
