He is good enough as he is. He would be an improvement on Pattison and not every signing has to have resale value

I would have agreed a month ago, but he is quite wasteful with the ball and doesn't really do anything of note. He is just consistent as a 6/7 out of 10 player. I'd rather he were a backup option (get rid of Richards) and bring in someone in a similar model to Adaramola/Neufville (early season) who has a little bit of a spark about them

I wonder what he thought of Cooks performance!!!.However,it would not surprise me at all if Cook ended up at Carlisle.

On last nights performance City should be looking at a decent fee for him

Agree but as I’ve mentioned before, the rumour threads can be quite entertaining. I wonder if it’s ever been calculated just how “accurate” the rumours tend to be. Anyway, keep them coming, something to either amuse or seriously wind people up.

Id take Shepard back in a heartbeat. Has potential to improve and is solid in a back 3. Tilt may be better in a physical battle but Shepard is better on the ball, and from watching the second half at Leyton Orient, it showed that only Baldwin is only capable with the ball at his feet. The rest just hit and hope which make our attacks one sided

Patto was fantastic at LG2. I don’t know whether its the injuries, the step up a division or a fall out with GA but he looks a shell of himself. Doesn't want to take anyone on and skies every shot that comes to him

Leigh - too lightweight to play in a 2, don’t see us changing formation so he's another that needs replacing

Lapslie - little effect when starting games or coming off as a sub

Richards - Thought he’d be decent at this level but hasn’t had a look in, partially due to injuries. Another one to replace but not the biggest problem to fix

Kav - wasted as a 10 and Swan is an upgrade on him. Will probably go out

Cook - don't want to see him go personally, offers something different than the others but I think GA has made it clear hes no longer in his plans

Bryne - Top professional but isn't cut out for LG1

    Powell - cancel his contract

A lot of potential outs. If we’re serious about promotion, 2 CMs, a 10 and a striker is a must

A ball playing CB, and someone with pace that can actually take on a man would be a nice bonus

Lapslie hasn’t let us down when he’s played. Surprised he’s not had more minutes.

Leigh had one moment of frustration and it’s been dealt with. He doesn’t have an attitude problem.

His control lets him down big style tbh.

We arent L2 anymore and he is a very L2 player. And we want improvements on Metcalfe and Power - not reserves.

Brads lack of pace against a pacey fullback was apparent last night, superb defensively but his pace limits our attacking options from good positions up the pitch...I guess it's more noticeable because of how effective Neufville was at the start of the season.

Absolutely agree re Lapslie. There is a good player there - he is unlucky not to be getting much more game time - he is clearly a team man and has been decent in a variety of cameos

Can't really get my head around this. He's been ultra consistent, got another assist against Wigan and if the season ended now he'd be a favourite for poty.

I'm not really sure what more you're expecting?

Purely throwing a name out there based on numbers and nothing else as I've not seen him play so don't know what type of player he is but some EFL clubs must be looking at Ollie Pearce at York, he's only got 6 months left on his contract and so far this season he's on 20 goals for York, the season before he got 31. His previous 3 seasons with worthing were 43, 24 and 35. He is 30 so that might count against him but you only have to look at how Cheek has stepped up for Bromley at a similar age.

York will most likely value him way above normal market value as he will be key for their chances of getting up so probably very unlikely and 12 months too late for where we are but thought it might be an interesting name to throw out there.

As I've said before he's player of the season for me. Played two positions and not looked out of place in either. Bar him and Joe Wright and to a lesser extent Power and Walker I don't have anyone else near them.

Pattison is a very good player especially at League Two level but even there you could notice his lack of tactical discipline at times and that has become more exposed in L1.
Some of the gaps he leaves behind him when he breaks forward or gets the press wrong are a problem. We’ve noticed it before but in his most recent spell in the side you could see GA screaming at him about it too.

Oh and 100% Touray is clear for me as POTY so far.

Imperative that we sign cover, though, IMO.

Playing Ty there for half a season would be a major downgrade, and no offence to Ty as he's better further up the pitch.

Touray might well end up playing every game between now and the end of the season, but that's where loans are good.
