On 3 June 2025, Manning was appointed head coach of Norwich City, signing a four-year contract through to the summer of 2029.

He was dismissed on 8 November 2025 after a run of 3 draws and no wins from 11 matches, leaving the club 23rd in the league. His final game was a 1–2 loss at home to Leicester City, where Norwich conceded in stoppage time. Under his tenure, Norwich lost every home game.

Sounds the perfect replacement for Grant especially the last highlighted comment .

Take out Norwich and it’s a good record. I am not knocking GA but how long did he last at MK.

 

I know…

GA at MK Dons lost 37.5% of his games in charge. Interesting, whilst here he’s only lost 27.4% of games managed.

Liam Manning at Norwich lost 64.7% of his games. Other than Norwich he’s done ok, nowhere near as good as GA has been with us though!

Ankle. Nolan said at the end of Dec/start of Jan (cant remember the exact date) that he's going to be outnfor a few weeks all being well. So if he's on time, he should be back on grass this week or next.

 

The dogs have announced that their first team coaches have been let go this evening now too. Sounds like Manning and his staff will be in for tomorrow.
