I wonder if we have sounded out a Loan move for Paul Mullin.

Pay his wages, even at 10k a week there's only 16 weeks left. Just pay it. Get him in and lets go up....

Not sure on Jordan Rhodes, and i don't think he will be cheap. I know it's been denied anywa, but still.

A simple explanation for Platt. Another team identified him as player they needed and offered him a decent salary, more than he would have got at Bradford. Shame as he would have been a regular in our back line but we move on.

He was brought in before Platt signed for anyone. Look at the timelines . The club may have known , who knows, but clearly Byrne was recruited first. Water under the bridge, but let’s ignore the spin he left for footballing reasons. Is it because MH liked tippy tappy football , which he was pretty lousy at with a wide ball into the stands in between . Oh wait he signed for a club because…. They played a “passing style” . The spin is contradictory, surely you can see through that?

That’s more like it . No spin, no contradictions.

He’s a data analyst. Greg is and remains Head of RECRUITMENT. Aka Gent!

I noice that Critchlow played for Posh in the EFL this season for 8 minutes, how is that not impacted on the 2 Club rule, with him already playing for Dagenham ?

Because Daggers are non-league I think.
Happy with the signing, know to the manager and club, did well in previous spell. Well enough for a team that was top of league 1 to take a chance on him. Hopefully we see more of the same from his previous spell here

I don't think non league counts for the 2 club rule, I could be wrong.

Look, it's no good waiting until we're half way through the season and then jumping on the bandwagon. What we need are people who can see these things quicker.

Ok, I understand. Quite savvy then that earlier loan.
I know the National league has their own 'Window' just assumed they were within the '2 club rule'

This was your own post in May.......pretty sure I recall something being said about him wanting more money and getting that at Notts.

Can’t agree with that. I don’t think he ever let the side down and gave 100% on the pitch. He’s naturally a quiet lad and probably having accepted average wages at Barrow and ourselves, you can hardly blame him for trying to make a few extra quid. As I’ve said before I didn’t think he’d get a league one club, so getting the best deal for him in league two is good for him. We obviously didn’t offer him enough to stay or value him high enough to want to stretch the budget. Walker would have probably done the same if we hadn’t triggered the extra year.

Walker is 6'6", Doyle is 6'5" and Hadi isn't much shorter.
