    Platt is a very competent centre half - it’s his distribution that lets him down, but hey this is League 2 not the Championship.

    Sometimes players suit leagues. When Paudie O'connor left, there was more than a ripple of noise in our fanbase to doubt he'd be a good L1 defender as he was another who wasnt known for good play on the ball and had clunky play and pace at times in L2.

    Although 18 months later, he's now having Championship clubs looking at him and Lincoln are thought to value him at £1m. I think Paudie was maybe more consistent than Platt, I wouldn't be surprised if he went to L1 and looked impressive.

    Paudie like a few more wasn’t really appreciated here. Wasn’t perfect but a very competent and very competitive centre half. Wish he was still here now

    Paudie was always class for us though, he just made a couple of mistakes / reds across the entire time he was here and that was it as far as some people were concerned

    Canavan is very much like Maguire at United, both very good defenders in a team that sits deep but if you play a high line they’re terrible. He is a perfect Wild player.
