Few L2 bits.... Sounds like Wrexham have some competition in their striker hunt, with Gillingham thought to also be in the Clarke-Harris race and now Mansfield are believed to have pipped them to signing Lee Gregory for the rest of the season.

Stockport County have launched a bid to buy Charlie Savage from Reading, but Reading don't want to lose assets on the cheap. They have also seemingly sneaked into a loan deal for Jaden Warner, a pacey central defender from Norwich. Warner was set to join Notts County on loan, even reportedly had his medical on the day Williams left, and Norwich have held agreeing the loan until the manager situation was resolved, and Stockport have jumped instead.

Swindon have signed another attacking midfielder from MK Dons on loan, in Dawson Devoy. And finally it seems like Crewe are going to sell their defender Connor O'Riordan to Blackburn for £500K plus a lot of add ons.

 

So Crewe getting £500k for a defender and some think £300k is a good price for the 2nd top scorer in the league.

Sparks will get a lot of abuse if he sells Young for less than £500k, no doubt it will be revealed as an undisclosed fee though which I think clubs should not be allowed to do. Fans of both the selling and buying clubs should have the right to know in my opinion

 

Exactly that. Do you think it's a City thing? Like, we've had underwhelming sale figures in the past and fans just now have a small thing in the back of their mind just expecting a poor return?

We've got a young striker, as you say 2nd top scorer in the league, every other fanbase would expect a very high six-figure bid, but we have a contingent who seemingly are valuing far too low.

Sadly they don’t have a right Idle. Transactions between businesses only need to be known by the Vatman, although I think this can be reclaimed .
I agree with you , I cannot begin to know why other than a “ transaction” between businesses don’t have to be made public so I looked.

Got to love this bit Kev, "A player may like to be protected from the pressure to perform based solely on the (let's assume) expensive transfer tag attached to their name" bet their not slow at coming forward with regards the "pressure" of receiving £150,000 a week when the very heart of any football club the fans possibly earn far less than that a year, my heart bleeds for the poor souls being expected to perform week in week out.
