Wyke and Cook should be a cheat code at this level. I assume Young would play the ten role and possibly Wright as a wingback. Makes sense, as Plymouth clearly see him as a wingback

Im sure he said it was a loan player or a player from a premier league club, or both. Wyke doesn't fit that criteria

 

They said city are trying to entice another ex player to return and they'd be amazed if it comes off. Nothing about loan or a player from a Premier league club mentioned.

 

I think its clear now why a lot of you are managers in the proffesional game.

• Wyke would most likely play alongside Cook. I highly doubt he'd drop a division to sit on the bench

• Young is not a CAM. He can be an effective second striker, playing off the likes of Cook or Wyke, but if you genuinely think that Young can do the same job as Walker or Pattison, you have another thing coming.

• Wright is NOT a wingback. Yes, he played for Plymouth various times in that position. Clearly he didnt do a good enough job, otherwise Plymouth wouldn't have binned him off

 

Sounds plausible. 30+ and can probably only manage 15 - 20 games a season? Got 3 year deal written all over it. It's what we do.

He isn’t coming if he wants £10k a week. It is not realistic for league 2. I honestly do not know what wages the players are on, but it is a lot for league 2.

Our fanbase is kinda sad. We link ourselves with all these great players constantly as part of some distant dream. We're League Two fodder cutting our wage bill.

We're signing journeyman goalkeepers and feeling lucky because we're getting players that only ever performed well for us and failed everywhere else on loan.

We aren't signing good players on good money on permanent deals.
