The case still stands, it was all orchestrated by the player and agent. The club ended up pretty powerless. They needed the money at the time, the difference is I don’t believe we do to the same extent in Jan 2024. All transfers are engineered upon the current situation of club and player.
In Youngs case ( Not Wells) I'd bet a pound for a pinch of salt, that player and Club (GA side) have mutually agreed that
A) He doesn't play for City until the window shuts
B) If a bid comes in that City value him at, then they won't stand in Youngs way.

 

For his goal scoring ability I would love him in the team. For attitude he needs to be nowhere near. The move is going to happen, so come on BCFC, get it done quickly but not on the cheap. And by the way Stefan and Ryan - the money must be reinvested in the squad if you are serious about taking our club forwards

What we don’t know is why, other than alleged witness evidence of unwilling to train properly or participating in a full preseason game.

What is unknown is what transpired within the club to resolve the issue? Some are coming down on the side of the player , some are coming down on the side of the club.

What IS clear is that BCAFC as an employer, has a legal obligation to look after and support the welfare of the employee. There are many tools and agencies to allow mediation. We just don’t know if these were used we just speculate instead. Like it or not such matters have to be kept completely confidential.

Well we didn't want him hence he was sent to Swindon instead of sorting it out
Not forgetting it was Swindon (not us) who increased his value (accepting he is our player)
The club need to show some acumen and not be drawn into accepting a price below what they consider he's worth
Not sticking up for JY by any stretch the absence of interviews claiming he can't wait to start scoring for us again is telling
Likewise if the club were intent on keeping him they could have named him as a substitute on Saturday injured or not it would have shown intent and ended speculation

You’re absolutely right about employee confidentiality. We are speculating and why is that? We know something happened, but the actual details are withheld. I am not of anyone’s side. Players must conform to standard disciplinary procedures or it would be chaos. What I do know is that this player has not come across at other clubs the same he is portrayed at our club. Now that is either how he was handled ie same behaviour but handled better, or no behaviour. We do know or this is evidence that MH was not good at communication, which in my view makes him unsuitable for the job in hand.
