How many 25 yarders has he scored that you said he does. Simple question if that’s your benchmark of a technical player.

I've not seen every goal he's scored. From the one's I've seen, there's been a few worldies in there.
I don't think he's going fit in to our new style. You obviously do.
    Let's leave it there.

I agree, I like the look of Tyler, he brings something we've lacked - and scoring goals isn't hurting!

I think in the rush to dismiss all our signings this summer, he's getting an unfair appraisal. He's not the only one either.

Tulloch and Afoka should never have been getting in ahead of Smith.

It's not often I agree with you Park, but every time I've seen Smith he's worked his socks off, making runs and chasing down everything

Totally agree, for me he’s been the most over criticised player we’ve had in a while and that’s saying something. He’s literally having to score a goal a game to avoid it which is so over the top and unrealistic of an expectation. He’s creating more space for Cook with his runs, we saw this against County when Cook had more chances than I’ve seen a striker have in years. Unfortunately Cook didn’t take any of them. For me it’s got the potential to be a very good partnership if they can both build an understanding and confidence. Making lazy comments because he struggled to get into a game when playing out of position at the start of the season helps nobody.

Maybe our new style will change once it looks like we are safe ????
I mean come January and the gap to the bottom 2 is over 12 points then surly the logical thing to do is actually try and go and be a lot more threatening and give the fans something to get on board with ............im sure we would rather see 3-2 thrillers than plodding are way to yet another dullard finish.

I mean come on if Jake Young wasnt our player we would be over the moon if we got him in come the January window..........maybe he will come back with the atritude that he will prove us all wrong

I think it's miles away from PP's football. For instance, we don't just lob it onto cooks head, like we did with Hanson, we look for the diagonal into the wingbacks. If that's not on though we're happy to retain possession and try to through the middle with Walker.

I'd go as far as saying if he came back we could even bench Cook and start with Smith & Young, two quicker more agile players who can press defenders.

I think that's really harsh on Smith. He does a lot of running off the ball and running into the channels that stretches their defence and makes space for Cook and in between the lines.

Smart business? Having one of your players as top scorer in the league for someone else when your team is struggling for goals?
I think bringing a manager to the club with no idea how to get the best of his players trumps sending Young to Swindon.

Rumours were flogging Khan to Wrexham for £350,000 to enable us to fund buying Young and Kemp. Kemp is more likely as he’s OOC in June and, I think, MK still owe us money from the Twine sell on fee. Would £250,000 get us Young?

Who knows with these transfer valuations these days! One thing, he's possibly doing too well. Could be more competition for him.

And I wouldn't bank on the new manager at MKD not wanting Kemp back either.

That would be a great piece of business.

That's the kind of thing we'd have done under Geoffrey Richmond, who was an aggressive bugger in the transfer market.

Now I think we'd just roll over, have our tummies tickled, and sell Young without having a target lined up.

I would say yes. That sort of money in league 2 is not to be sneezed at.Forget what Wrexham are said to pay for players, they are an exception that we might not see again for a long time.
