He would be very valuable to the sqaud. We have struggled to replace him since foolishly selling him. Pacy 6ft plus full backs are always an asset

 

But we play wing backs now and Foulds is no wing back.

 

He wouldn't get in and he's no better than Ridehalgh in real terms.

I'd like to see his return to Bradford City to see if he can perform for us, IMO he didn't get a fair crack of the whip under Hughes (some will disagree) I can assure you I wouldn't be bringing him back just to derail Swindon, but it will be interesting to see if he can score for Bradford City.

 

Spite is my middle name, I'd bring him back JUST to de-rail the yokels. I'd also re-sign Levi Sutton on a three year deal just to pee of @Kevin1954

 

I agree, I'm bemused why some mention this 'derail Swindon', it's bizarre and a little embarrassing.
I've no interest in Swindon and totally focussed own my own club.
There's no guarantee JY will be as prolific at Bradford, however, we now know since his loans, he developed and matured into a far better player than who left, and much of this is down to Swindon, so thanks for that.

I'd like to think if he does return and plays, he's as prolific as David Layne was, who we got from Swindon, he went on to score 34 goals in a single season.

However, the best player we ever got from Swindon on a free was Peter Downsborough.

Ryan East remains to be seen, however he's cooking along nicely on loan at Rochdale.

 

There would be no point Ryan East coming back to Bradford, he's now 25 and played less than 50 games at football league level. Certainly isn't gonna get game time at VP and we need to be looking at better if we want to progress.

It's not about age, height or speed, he's second choice at Harrogate to Liam Gibson, but benefiting from injury.

 

If you watch their game at Accy, their defending is Xmas Panto stuff. They don’t need an awful lot of help from us, either way.

 

I have seen on a swindon messageboard that allegedly L1 oxford are showing an interest but i cannot see them blowing City away with a bid so he can come home to City in 2024.

 

Just watched a Swindon fans forum, filmed a week ago from memory, and in response he , CEO, didn’t deny Young will highly likely return to ourselves .

I agree - he only comes back if GA thinks he can do something with him and someone like McDonald leaves.

 

Thank you I found it. They are running at £1.3 mill deficit. That is not sustainable. Didn’t watch all of it, but they are still looking for a healthy budget in January to strengthen the team.

 

“ Looking” and “finding” are two different things Remember that was supposed to be spin for supporters so he would say that.,You cannot run a massive deficit , be reliant on the long distant owner to keep the club afloat AND find money to recruit new players in L2.
