Yes by trusted contributors , who actually saw the referenced 45 min half where he was pulled off at Horsfall and several who watched an entire training session at Woodhouse. It was highly likely that these two incidents led the club to pull him from the Spanish training camp a few days later? Perhaps search them out and ask them if they are making it up? Did you call them out at the time? Call out those who you don’t think are being reasonable….I do. or sit on one’s hands and say nothing? Hope that explains?

 

Just creating a couple of decent chances will do me at present. Anything to wake me up now and again throughout the 90 minutes.

Be funny if he turns into the new Paul Mullin. Been around a few League 2 clubs, in and out of sides, then goes out on loan and suddenly explodes out of nowhere and becomes not only a first team regular, but a goalscoring machine.

MH needs to be given 10 matches,Till Christmas, The January window, Time for Jan signings to settle in, build consistency/team for next season ,then the classic pre season This is how it will go
Jake may not score another goal this season or may go on to net 30 it's no longer any interest to us either way his time in Claret and Amber is done just the contractual details to be sorted
He will be happy at Swindon playing an attacking brand of football with a manager capable of getting the best from him why on earth would he give that up

Interesting interview with Sky after winning POTM. Seems like he's the type that needs an arm around him, but talks about City like it's a chapter that done and dusted. I think most fans are confident we wont see him play for us again.

He's enjoying his football again, not sure what that says about his spell with us but it's clear to say he won't be with us in the long term. Our manager doesn't rate him and he clearly doesn't rate the managers opinion of him. I wish the lad nothing but good luck, we will end up with a fee for him one way or another, or unless Hughes gets the sack in which case he might feel a new manager would give him a fair crack of the whip.

 

It's part of football, some players just click with some managers and clubs and others don't. Cook's best in a football league season was 13 until last season. Tyreik Wright was an average at best league 2 player and we got the best out of him. Nahki Wells was another, there will be lots more. With that you also have the other side like this. Before this season Young had scored 11 in 75 league games but I don't think anyone is saying Rob Edwards and Pete Wild are bad managers for not getting the best out of him.
No manager in the world gets the best out of every player they have.

 

I'm not sure why you've included Nahki Wells in this? He's scored goals consistently everywhere he's been since breaking through to first team football.

Andy Cook also scored 18 for Walsall in league one and plenty just one division below this so I think it's unfair that you're discounting those if you're using his career as a whole for an example.
