We haven't even finished the season, with play offs still to play and the Premier League conclusion yet to happen.

But only a Premier League goalkeeper and a League Two winner, rubbiiiiiiiiiiish!

I’m not getting excited about a player that couldn’t get into the FG Rovers team.

Good signing but let’s not make out he’s a big named signing for this division or something.

No one is! The consensus is one for the future with a lengthy deal in the clubs favour. Even FGR fans suggest the same.

I would love to see Eisa go, don't matter how good he is if he's always injured. would much rather we do our level best to get him off the wage book and give that money to Hughes to bring someone he wants in.

He was rarely injured until Adams got his hands on him. The way Hughes has managed Angol and the rest of the injury prone players, without adding to their problems, gives me hope he'll do the same with Eisa. We still don't know how good Eisa is, he might be a gem or a big disappointment.

He looked good at Forest back in August. We definitely looked weaker when he went off.

Yes , didn’t they room together when they first arrived? A great trio of signings.

I hope you're correct with Vernam, Sutton, Hendrie and Watt and your wrong with Paudie.

And a young kid called Chris Withe from Newcastle steady full back who also moved to City on a free transfer, Chris spent more than four years at City, missing just one game when we won the Third Division title.

Know nowt about him really, so FGR went up but he’s staying in league 2? We’re clearly massive  Was he at the end of his contract with them? All irrelevant I guess - hope he does well and welcome aboard.

He's still 12 months on his contract, unless someone comes in for him offering a fee I can't see him going and as several have alluded to different ball game under Sparkie.

Any player who has local ties will settle in straight away. Working/being away from home is not good as youngster. I like the sound of this lad so on we go .....

You are aware that millions of kids go to University age 18, most remain there until 21 and a good portion settle elsewhere, when they graduate. He will be 21 in July, so in reality not that different.
How many young people join the Armed Forces and are posted to areas far away from home?
Sometimes living away from home is actually good!
Like many on here this sounds like a good signing. Lets hope he matures and develops into a really exciting player.

It's possible he wasn't offered a contract but we still paid compensation because they could simply have offered a contract and demanded it anyway, if he was definitely coming to us either way it cuts out the faffing and gets the deal done

Big rod blow me down I used to wonder were they all went. Thanks for that. The point is that it’s easier to settle in an area you know and can hit the ground running from day one. Once again cheers for that advice ….,,

I dont hold out much hope and Angol has only recovered for a few dead rubber games in time to get himself a new contract. Would just rather not take the chance and let hughes get people he's actually chosen in the door.
