Are the actual attendance numbers part of the public domain? Could these be found out to further display the current decline

 

I don't think there was 8,000 at VP last night.

No way it was 1/3 full. As seen on the picture, row after row of empty seats.

 

'Official' attendance numbers are found in the match report at the bottom. Earlier in the season, they were tweeted out near the end of the match but now they are not.

Officially last night was 14,512 with 702 away fans. Not a chance there was 13.8k home fans. Looked around 7-8k from up in the NWC.

Yep the actual number needs to be recorded for fire safety reasons.

Some saddoes (I think it may have been Tottenham fans) put in a freedom of information request to get the info about actual attendances at Arsenal a few years back, so knock yourself out...

Boycott first is the best idea. Agree with @JonButterfield, that has the best impact visually, and financially - a short term hit that he certainly couldn’t cope with financing if it developed into people staying away, long term. You have to hope plenty will boycott and meet at the ground, as Jon also said before, it is important to respect the views of supporters that still wish to attend, might seem obvious but there’s always one or two. Any good will PR for the fans boycotting would disappear rapidly if there was shown to be any negativity from those opting not to go to the game towards those that do want to.

It’s not exactly difficult for me to boycott, so I take my hat off to those that will do it are trying to do something proactive to send our owner a clear message that the way we are heading will no longer just be accepted.

Tuesday night matches are almost always down against Oldham we had 17,264 then 3 days later we had 14,257 against Stevenage. Even taking out 1000 or so less away fans it's still 2,000 down then next home game was 15,809 on a Saturday

 

Fair comment, but there were about 6,000 there last night.

 

Count me in. Wouldn't take much for my 2 lads to boycott going against Swindon tbh and more than willing, like last time, to contribute to a fly-by banner!!
