The next manager absolutely has to have a reputation for entertaining, attacking football. That was the main gripe during the whole of Hughes' tenure particularly at home and followed on from Bowyer and Adams.

If Sparks hires another past it dinosaur from the merry-go-round then that should be confirmation to anyone who doesn't already know, that he's absolutely clueless.

Can’t really celebrate the news as it means another manager has failed and reflects us being in a dire position, but it needed to happen.

Hughes wasn’t a complete disaster, last season was frustrating but we did make the playoffs. But we’ve gone backwards and were in no danger of going up.

On a slightly seperate note Sheffield Wednesday have sacked their manager as well this evening, I wouldn't be shocked at all if they went all in for Neil Warnock which should end all talk of him from some fans.
