You can see them in the kop where i'm sat. I suspect just an oversight by the club, rectified in an hour or so with a spray can if needed.

That is because you were seeing blue dots before your eyes.

Speaking of blue dots. I logged on at 4:58pm and counted 150 unsold seats:

    - 38 in block A of the main stand
    - 113 along the third row from the front on the bottom tier of the Kop

I consider myself to be officially sad having done this.

Some of the youth have been banned this week so they maybe a few empty seats in the kop.

At what point do "fair weather" fans become "proper" fans? I see a few comments on here effectively slagging people off for paying full price to come and watch a football match now and then.

For me, there is the process of coming for the first time, enjoying it, but not at the stage of committing to be a season ticket holder.
When I came with my daughter in the mid 90’s (GR kid for a quid introduction), it was four seasons before we got a season ticket.
Geography was a factor, also that kids sometimes grow out of things.
Frankly I am more than happy to welcome newbies, same with ‘fairweather’ as a lot of people have family, work, health, distance, other interests to balance.
Hopefully a fair few will become ‘proper’, although there are some on here having a go at Season Ticket holders unless they come to 24 home league matches a season!!

I don't get some of the stuff posted on here with regards attending games be they at home or away, if someone can't or doesn't want to buy a season ticket yet attends games paying the full price for the pleasure what has it got to do with anyone else.
Same with club/loyalty points its now in its 3rd year so you'd expect those who attend most home and away games will now have generated enough points to be the first to get away tickets, and that's how it should be.
The one thing I don't accept is that those who do have the most club/loyalty points are a better or more loyal supporter than those who don't, I'll use myself as an example am I less of a supporter because I'm not within that group, yet have just short of 70 years of supporting my club, that also does not make me a better fan but what it does give me is a lifetime of experience watching a mostly lower league football club and all that goes with it, hopefully I can contribute to the forum reminiscing some of my and others good and bad times during that 70 years, its not a competition.

Time to draw a line under the topic. It’s been blown out of proportion.
Nobody ever suggested someone should attend every game.

I think most of us on here are quite sanguine about the topic. Just a small minority who seem to be angst about it.

I don't think I said that, the word I used was most, theirs only you blowing it out of proportion making that claim, I'm actually agreeing with what you have posted in the past those that attend the most games deserve to be rewarded.

The debate was never about priority points, it was about fans buying cheap season tickets and not using them but continuing to renew them so they have a reserved seat.
It was suggested that we might have a scheme where those seats could be freed up but as the ground is rarely sold out it’s not needed.
Anyhow, let’s park it until we have 20000 ST holders and I’ll bump it back up

I was replying specifically to @Keefly Bantam@Keefly Bantam post "At what point do "fair weather" fans become "proper" fans? I see a few comments on here effectively slagging people off for paying full price to come and watch a football match now and then" hence my reply, the thread was about Huddersfield tickets and when they go on general sale but got side lined about fans not attending, do keep up.

Get ready for the arguments with people that have sat in the wrong seat for years but it has never mattered because the seat they sit in never sells

Are they different to the green dots on the pavement on Midland Road?
