No, and I've offered my reasons why IMO as an owner that is not acceptable.

 

Knocking bet Dave he will "slap another XXX on his asking price to reflect a higher league and also to try and claw back any funding/loans he may have advanced to the club
L1 won't make him invest either after he's been "comfortable" with us languishing in L2 for so long a return to L2 wouldn't bother him if he couldn't sell
I do believe I read that a deal was muted that the rent would increase/decrease depending on what division we were in whether that option was taken I don't know

Obviously just my take on things Steve but with regards investing if we do go up and he doesn't then we may quite easily come straight back down and that helps no one, I believe if that was to happen God forbid even the cheap season tickets wouldn't be enough to generate anything like it does at present and revenue from advertising would ultimately suffer, I don't believe it would be a boycott more a (I've had enough) reaction.
Here's a first mate even I would have to consider the situation, I love my Bradford City as much as the next fan but there becomes a time when you have to consider if the owner did enough with regards investment, or was it our players or management that couldn't make the adjustment to League One, lets hope if we do go up we don't have to make that choice.

Well that makes up for running the club the way it has been ............honestly try all you might to defend him but the fact remains his time in charge has been one huge failure and you cannot deny that

 

Winning promotion this season after 7 years and then being relegated the season after would probably signal the end for me also.

Yes mate, 40 years of loyalty hardly ever missing a game home and away but failure to win promotion this season and I think I’ll scale it back a bit.

 

So not quite the end…….

We didn’t have the same attitude in the 60’s and beyond, we just went, not many of us at times but we went regardless, rain , hail, shine. Home and away just the same, more often than not by train . There were no distractions in those days.
