So YOU think we could get up to a £1m for Charlie Wyke am I reading you correctly or are you going to fall behind the other posters think we can, that's the reason I asked.

Easy, 15 goals a season players just hang off trees like crab apples. In fact why bother with just one, lets grab another while we are feeling flush.

 

We'll be lucky to get £500K for Wyke and that's if he generates any genuine interest. Didn't impress me much over the whole season, so wouldn't be that difficult to replace.

 

Give me one player who we could sign for under 500k who will guarantee us at least 15 goals at this level

 

Nobody is guaranteed to score but Taylor at Wimbledon, Eisa at Cheltenham, more than a few players for less than half a million. Wyke himself cost £250k so yeah it can be done.

 

Mark McNulty at Coventry in and out of our team never given an extended run scored I think it was 25 goals this season.
Hopefully if he gets more than a start here and there McCarten can do the same thing now. It would be interesting to see how much Coventry would get for McNulty now.

 

Please don't tell me you think we will get anywhere near a million for Wyke his stock has diminished this season will be lucky to get our money back been well off form lately

 

Eisa will go for 1m + no doubt. Taylor maybe and is free so worth a look

 

Depends who wants him.. I agree we would be lucky to even the fee but if there are two or three clubs in for him there could be an auction.

 

If we get 750k for him the money could go towards bringing in Lyle Taylor and Kyle Vassell who are both available for free's. That would be a definite upgrade imo.

 

Are they forwards to consolidate our Div1 status or ones we can take with us to the championship if by some magic we are at the right end of the table with a chance of the play offs and were promoted?

 

They are both good strikers for this level so you'd hope they would have us competing at the right end of the table. I doubt we'll be looking at that sort of quality though.

 

At this moment, I will be happy to stay in the division. Hope I am not the only one that hasn't forgotten the form of the 2nd half of the season. A lesser budget theoretically means a poorer standard of player.
