Impressions are that this wil be the case hence the apathy amongst the supporter base. A very good spell of PR is essential this summer to try and get eveyone onnboard for the start of the season, whoever the manager is will have to be allowed to be creative in the free transfer and loan market. We cannot be reliant on the development squad to fill the holes left by departing players. Sergio pinto’s list of out of contract players showed there are some pretty decent players available in the lower divisions. If we use this to add to the nucleus of decent enough players then we will be in with the majority of the division in having a crack at the playoffs.

Surely Mason, along with non exec Board members, who could express the English way, would have stood up to be counted when things began to go badly wrong. I don't see these back room 'players' jumping ship out of disillusionment right now. Mason, surely, as a self proclaimed 'uberCityFan' could use his privilege to have a word with his boss. It is a sad day for Yorkshire men if these individuals haven't the guts to influence the Owners agenda through a dialogue which puts the fans at the heart of the Club. If a CEO can't have meaningful input then no-one can act as a reality check. This may not be the case, but Edin does appear to have ploughed his own furrow and not heeded advice ,if any, given by his fellow accomplices.

Parkinson was on his way out. Yes he might have been persuaded to stay if the owners had given him 12 months his way but they didn’t. He didn’t like the model so he left he was honest.
Grayson said along he got on well with Edin blamed the lack of infrastructure like not owning the ground training ground and state of the pitch at no point does he blame the owners.
That just leaves one man who took the job on the same grounds that Parky turned down and said he was delighted

at what point is one of your posts not going to directly or indirectly slag off Stuart McCall?

you dont rate him as a manager. we get it, by god we get it, you've made it clear enough. I think you're disrespectful and don't share the opinion, but thats irrelevant but for god sake move on.

i've stopped rabbiting on about Phil Parkinson, sometimes I even make a post that doesn't mention how much I hate Edin (not often I know but it does happen) so surely you can lay off McCall and move on.

Right then here is challenge look back at any of my posts and see if you can find any where I slag Stuart off whilst he was manager unlike you with Parkinson I got right behind him as I do with all managers. What gets my goat is when things go wrong and he gets justifiably sacked which had it been anybody else the fans would have been fully behind. Then he is used as a stick to beat the owners with

I don't understand this post. I didn't say anything about whether you supported him when he was here, and I don't see what its got to do with whether or not I supported PP while he was here.

nearly every post you've made since January has somehow slagged off Stuart McCall.

you don't rate him. other people do. you feel his sacking was justifiable, and a lot of people don't. just fecking live with it!!

Ricc he done the same with Lawn, The sun shone out of Marks arse. Then Rupp and Ruin walk in the door and all was really not well under Marks stewardship. Talk about being two faced.

This is why I think he is a WuM.

if anything, to date we should be looking back and blessing mark lawns wee cotton socks compared to what we have now. If you want to blame the past Park B. Then blame Mark for selling our club to the two stooges. I just wish we had Julian and Mark here now.

Im a WuM? Are you calling me that because I called you it? Ha ha pathetic. At least my thoughts are on the present. Dont change in the future to reflect the past. Your one mixed up fan (if you are indeed one).

If you are referring to the last board I thought they did a magnificent job under the circumstances. But in your case it’s a sad bitter agenda against the club a WUM if the highest order

...and Grayson not wanting to work with a similar budget SM was given - which was described as mid table.

Aside from the training ground issue (which I don't really understand the issue with), how anyone could disagree with Grayson or call his demands unreasonable is beyond me.

The budget simply isn't good enough. Everyone knows the squad needs an overhaul and it will be expensive, but R&R got us into this mess to start with so they should be prepared to cough up and get us out of it. If an approximate 2m budget is their limit they need to cut the shit and tell fans how it is and to expect mid table mediocrity, and anything else is a bonus.

I thought you was on about buying into the "Parky went to Bolton it was a done deal before we lost the semi final play offs to Millwall".

The worrying thing to me is, some quote any money we get for Wyke will be reinvested into the budget for the first team squad, does anyone really believe we could replace Charlie Wyke for what we might receive for him.

It would be tough I agree. I wait with baited breath to see how the managerial and player recruitment goes.

I think it is quite clear for a million or even 750k we can bring in a striker who can match his 15 goals this season and have money left over.
