Edin backs off and let's Hopkin manage, we gather some momentum and all this will almost be forgotten. If he doesn't and Hopkin leaves or results and performances continue to stay the same then this would be the final nail.

I’ll give him a chance, mainly as I’m delighted that arrogant Collins has gone. At least he’s a name and played at the top as a player and can at least tell the players he’s a proven winner. I’d also love to think that if Rahic has his nose sticking in Hopkin might be the sort to politely tell him to “f*ck off”

Anyone know what type of Head Coach he was at Livingston? Was he manager in all but name with major input in transfers etc or more a European style Head Coach who just had to deal with the players he was provided with

 

Really hope he is not judged on his time here as a player. He didn’t ask for 2.5 million to be spent on him and be injured all the time.

I hope he uses it as motivation and feels he has unfinished business. Can’t wait for weekend now

Saw a few Livingstone play off games last season and there's no doubt Hopkins had them playing for each other and they deserved their success.

 

For me, Edin has redeemed himself ever so slightly today. I'm looking forward to Saturday again, and that is a turnaround at the minute. Just let the new guy get on with it.

He had them playing well with a lot of confidence.I was quite impressed with the team ethic and hard work.The quality of players is often EFL league one or two standard but more entertaining than what we are producing at the moment.

He will need a few games but hopefully we will see more spirit and determination in the side.

 

How did they play? Seen a few people on Twitter claiming he's a hoofball dinosaur which would contradict what Edin said he wanted.

Agree 100%. The appointment fits the profile we need. Nobody predicted this. It looks like an appointment that has had some thought. I only hope the job description was spelt out and one that Hopkin is happy with. Full autonomy. Full accountability. Might be extremely naive but I just can't see Hopkin being the type of personality who likes having his toes trodden on. Edin - we are preparing ourselves to forgive you!
