Threlkeld seems to be the weaker of our first choice defenders and I didn't really have high expectations. I was sort of really hoping for solid if unspectacular.

My argument on the young lads is that given the chance, if they played decent they could become first teamers or we may get an offer in. At the moment we just look poor and with a high potential for errors. I have zero expectations that Adams will play either Finn or Reeve though. Hope they move on and have successful careers elsewhere.

We've got a goal scorer, the problem is that he's the only one in the entire team. What we need is more goals and more threat from the 5 that play behind him.

But he's missed enough easy chances. As Adams alludes to we are short of quality players, ones who can turn a game on their own.
