Two of them are the best players that ever played for the club lol not exactly the same

I do think we could have sold Staunton if we'd kept playing him though there's a market for teenage centre backs for sure

Of course they were and were given their chance at the time, Graeme Tomlinson was snapped up by Man United after only 17 apperances where as the others had a couple of seasons with us, my point remains of the two Finn being young and IMO there being little difference in him and Threlkeld Finn would ge the shirt.

The ‘gap’ in the team, is the failure to bring in ‘appropriate’ cover.

The reserve two strikers should have similar attributes to Cook and Angol, so that if one is injured the reserve can fit into the system.

Angol was injured against Stevenage in late August. We signed Robinson after that date.

I struggle to see why Adams agreed to the Lavery signing.

If neither of these players can operate in the system he plays, then why did City sign them? You would also have thought they would have had some discussions with Adams, to see if they felt they could fit in.

The alternative is for Adams to have a plan B, where he changes his formula to accommodate his new signings.

It's shocking that our only proper striker is Andy Cook at this point in the season we knew full well we didn't have any back up with no young strikers coming through and apparently Adams not liking to use kids anyway

Why did we leave it so late to sign Lavery and Robinson pretty shambolic I can only guess money is the issue

The Ireland under 21 set up. Where he has only featured for a limited time off the bench. No disrespect to Finn, but the truth isn't quite the ringing endorsement you are making it out to be. That said, I think he has done a decent enough job for us when called upon, but for a side aiming for promotion, we need better.

Vital we win to stop the rot, tomorrow. What we mustn't do is concede early and get the crowd on the players backs.

I wouldn't expect many changes because DA's options are so limited with injuries and the players he's already written off. If he decides not to risk Vernam, it's difficult to see where our threat will come from.

These really are difficult times and I hope there's no hangover from last week's no show.

Adams hopes Charles Vernam will be in contention against Rochdale, that's got to be a plus.
While Caolan Lavery, Theo Robinson, Niall Canavan, Abo Eisa and Lee Angol are not too far behind.

No doubt they will have been practicing crosses and shots from outside the box in training ready for the game

I'm always nervous when players are coming back from hamstring issues, that the damn thing will go again. I just wonder whether he'll risk starting him?

I think Adams wording suggests he'll be on the bench, I hope I'm wrong but as you say don't want him to start and finish up crocked again.

Some folks just love and luxuriate in the opportunity to moan and complain. And we have a club that allows them the chance to do that in spades! Bless them all. But life is life. We are what we are. If anyone out there really has a quick fix solution to City's ongoing travails, be great to hear it.

And yet FCD has performed better than his replacement and given the choice many would suggest that Staunton would outperform Kelleher.

It's all very well saying the young kids aren't good enough but when the older replacements are at least equally as poor then it makes the statement look a bit daft.

    very glad to see that.
Richard O'Donnell needs as much practice as possible with shots from outside the box.

They look a youngish side with pace and quite a few loan players from leagues above in the squad, Tough game
