    Given how the EFL is the governing body, you would have assumed that they would have identified a policy and subsequent procedure, which was universal across the EFL? If all the clubs are going to ‘do their own thing’ then this will just create chaos.

    You can still POTD but have to buy a ticket instead of their being cash turnstiles. That's how I understand it anyway.

    Same for me. The last place I used cash regularly was my local pub in Stafford. Since they introduced contactless 5 or 6 years ago, I've hardly used cash anywhere.

    Nowadays everything is pay on an app or contactless. I can't remember needing cash at any away fixtures in the last season or two before COVID. If down here is anything to go by, I would expect that many places will not accept cash post-COVID.

    It seems there's all sorts of shenanigans going on at Oldham in the dispute between many of their fans on the owner.

    I think one of the protest groups was encouraging fans to boycott home matches and avoid purchasing away tickets through Oldham, so they don't get commission. A bit of a problem for them if there is no pay on the gate at away matches.
