    It will have been a long time since we played a competitive match, when Crawley visit in mid January. The momentum will have been lost, perhaps too much time to think about things, however it is up to the players and management squad to refresh things.
    A long journey for Creepy, not sure if the hotels are open with Covid. I guess the roads will be quieter, a good four hours on the road and an early start if not.
    I see they have united the Wright brothers, not sure if they will ‘take off’ as a unit.
    The home fixture when a certain ex-Manager was there eight years ago, was always a feisty night!
    Crawley’s away form over the last eight is good, Won 3 Drawn 4 Lost 1, so a tough game in prospect.

    Clearly Crawley are a top ten side, should be top half of the Premier League.

    I'll take a 4-0 defeat if we can somehow keep the score down.

    Hopefully they get a glamour tie in the 4th round so their heads are elsewhere. Not wanting to get stuck in so as to not risk injury for Anfield, Old Trafford or The Emirates.

    That's what I was thinking. I seem to recall our league form dipping when we were on the way to the league cup final? Hopefully they see a trip to Bradford as it bit of a come down after today and their heads are on another big name in the 4th round (and a possible 5th round name too).

    But Crawley look a decent side.
