You could use that same argument with any successful team. It’s successful because they are in it.
Take Lee Mills out of the 1999 squad and we never see the PL.
Take Salah out of the Liverpool team and they’d still be waiting for a PL title.

 

And the difference been we haven’t had anyone with anything near the impact or ability either of those three had in their positions since, Hanson included.
Furthermore the most average of players most of those 3-4 regularly played with were better than the majority of our current squad.

 

You could always argue the player you are taking out could be replaced but their influence in the team cannot be replacated.

Well, folk seem to think Parky knows his defenders and French has played 13 times for Wrexham. This would suggest he's capable enough in Parky's eyes.

What posi does he play for them? I know they paid big money for Tozer (CB) from Cheltenham and Bryce Hosannah from Leeds. Didn’t think French would get a look in after that

 

I think Parky is playing Tozer and Hosannah in midfield

 

Sheehan's mum died shortly after he joined us and it affected him very badly
