    See this is where you are going wrong, you are seeing it as Southend relying on you to save them. They aren't, they still have to win their games and earn their right to stay up. It's about all teams having a level playing field though rather than getting to the end of the season and perhaps one team having teams with something to play for still and putting out strong teams and another having mid-table teams with nothing to play for and fielding their backup players and youth players.

    All any team can expect and should get is that as long as the outcome matters and isn't just a totally dead match with two midtable teams that the strongest team available is put out so that one team doesn't get an easier run than they should be

    Been a much better second half with our defenders not being as deep.

    Good swap to take FCD off. He's competent defending but has no real attacking presence. At least Sutton will get up the side and support Vernham or the forwards.
