Nearly took it out on my telly at that point. Yeah, when the board went up you just knew it would be Cook's number on it. What do these two not getting about their system not working?

Another point, there's 'talk' about trying our kids out since there's nothing to play for, yet with 10 minutes to go we bring on a loanee who's hardly played and who we'll never see again after the next two matches. While our own kids warm the bench.

One of the most boring matches I’ve watched for a long time. Surely they need to start considering the fans now the season has gone. Just something to get us onboard. Bringing Sikora on would have done that at least a little bit. Especially as Paudie was on a yellow and his temper meter was heading up to max. I wonder if they’ve been given a points total they have to reach to pacify Sparks? Seems they are afraid to lose, so set out to get a draw. Very strange. Especially his post match comments about wanting to win every game and finish the season strongly.

I’ve always found him to be a bit overrated some on here even said he was as good or better than Meredith which was the most ridiculous comment ever, but he’s certainly a lot better than he’s letting on atm. His hearts clearly not in it and I knew from his interview, when he said he’d sit down to discuss new terms(don’t they all? Some fans fall for it still) but in the same interview said how hard it’s been lately and how much he missed home that he was going. He’ll most likely rock up at a league 1 or 2 club next season in the south east, and do well no doubt as plenty for when they leave here.

Always think a manager is losing it when they claim we created loads of chances after a game we lost.

Trueman saying we needed to take our chances last night was laughable. We created one good chance all night, let's not kid ourselves. Sure we had a few shots in the first half but nothing that constituted a good chance.

Salford on the other hand had the best chance in the first half and the best chance in the second.

Creating one good chance at home after you've gone three home games without scoring is pitiful but when a manager thinks we created enough last night, its clear he has no idea.

Interviews like that ruin credibility. When you have seen a game where we still wouldn’t score when the opposition were on the bus on the way home, and the manager comes out and says it was a close game or we were unlucky not to win. What are they trying to achieve? I’d have far more respect if they came out and said it how it was, don’t have the quality, players didn’t follow my instructions and the lot of them need to shape up or ship out. It makes me think T&S have no clue .

He has a much better squad at Salford than he had here. They're not a great watch, but they're solid, effective, they have players who do have a threat. Can certainly see them going up.

Especially when we patently didn't create (m)any real chances of note.

We're flaky, we're powderpuff. We need major work this summer.

Fair assessment. However, I seriously doubt that even if we want Cook, he wont come unless there is a change of manager. He's a good strike rate goalscorer who would flourish with a strike partner and being criminally ruined in the role that Turgid & Stalemate play him in. If I were him, and we came knocking in the summer, I'd give the club two fingers.

The club will find it hard to get the players they want to come to the club with these two managers still in charge, Players want to play for managers with ambition and a fair chance of success, They will look at us and find little of either,

We need to know from Ryan whose mast is he tying his colours to. If he sticks with the present duo, to save getting egg on his face, he has to be certain that the support he offers is enough to get us out of this division next season. Based on the poor performances and questionable tactics of late, he should be quaking in his shoes. Unfortunately T&S do themselves no favours when explaining their strategy which is alienating the very fans the Club so desperately need. We need wisdom we can rely on to improve our state of affairs pitch side.We have heard the rhetoric re close season signings, but it would be really helpful if we saw a fuller vision re the direction the Club was taking to right itself playing wise. Sadly we need to go to the very top for answers but Stephan remains detached from us fans in this respect.

That's always been my yardstick. When a manager paints a completely different picture to what I've just seen with my own eyes I know it's time for them to go. And they almost always do.

I have a real feeling the second half of your post will be equally valid in 12 months.
