Get over yourselves! This is a good Lg 1 side. For me, sooner we're out of this pointless pizza cup the better. We need to concentrate and be totally full focus on getting out of League Two.

 

Didn’t do Orient any harm last week, professionals should be able to play Saturday Tuesdays, I’d rather a match than a training game.

A Lincoln city side 20th in league one,we are making them look like Barcelona.

 

With none of the young menbers of the squad given a game, the problem is we can't blame this on a much weakened team, so this isn't going to do too much for the side's confidence, after Saturday's no show.

Derek blamed "other(s)" for influencing the week's training methods for Saturday's reverse and said he wouldn't allow that to happen again. If we can't retrieve this tonight, who are you going to blame now, Derek?!

Well according to someone at the club... The players like a rest day after a match and a very easy session the day after that!..

Apparently.. they don't put the effort in on match day.

Ps... I do not give a monkeys about this competition. But.. I give a toss the players 100%.

I said in the summer I didn’t want Hornby resigning and wished we’d have got a new number 1, however some seem to think Hornby is far better regardless of what manager after manager thinks.

 

Agree. When one screws up they shall be rightly closely scrutinised.

 

Speaking of keepers their young lad has done well for an 18 year old, looked composed when coming out and a few decent stops first half.

 

I said the other day they're much of a muchness. They have different strengths but overall they're kind of equal. We should have kept one and gone and got someone like that guy at Orient or someone who we would agree is a proper number one.

 

Roll on the day we return to a level when Lincoln are brushed aside.

An enjoyable watch but just shows the difference between the two leagues. Everything Lincoln did was quicker in midfield, moving ball faster, reacting to loose balls quicker. The amount of times Cooke was asking for the ball to be played quicker and for players to make themselves available for a pass was alarming. Thankfully we won't play teams of that standard every week but this team still has glaring weaknesses that we'll have to hope don't cost us too many results.

 

Totally disagree. Thank God we're out of the what do you want on your Pizza cup. All we want is promotion. I couldn't even give a toss about an FA Cup run, as long as we concentrate everything on going up as Lg Champs or automatic promoted. City! League 1! Isn't that what we all want? Anything else is a mind wearying distraction. Promotion. And just let me repeat that. PROMOTION.

 

Early days, come November we may have a better idea.
